Namecheap already comes with free email forwarding for most domain purchases. If you want extra speed and privacy, you can switch to using our service, ForwardMX. This guide only works if you use Namecheap as your DNS provider. If you use Cloudflare or any other, check out our other DNS configuration guides.

Doing this is easy as described in the following steps:

1. Go to “Advanced DNS”

Open your domain settings and then “Advanced DNS” tab.

3. Set MX Records

Now you can set the MX records to the values found on the "MX Records and Setup Instructions" page in your account.

so it should look something like this:

Namecheap Set MX Records

After that, scroll up to the "Host Records" setting, and click "Add New Record".

You also need to add a "TXT Record", on the @ Host, which is the same value for all accounts on ForwardMX:

"v=spf1 include:_spf.forwardmx.net -all"

Click Save Changes.

The TXT Record should look like this when it's added:

Click Save, and once the DNS changes propagate which can take from a few minutes to 48 hours, you will be ready to receive emails on your Namecheap domain via ForwardMX!
