How to gain access to domains or accounts after the account holder's death Print

To access a domain or an account after the death of the account holder, you must be the Estate Administrator or next of kin of the deceased. You need to submit a request with the following documentation:

1. Provide a copy of legal documentation showing the name of the Estate Administrator
2. Letter from the Estate Administrator requesting access to the deceased's account with Domain Name Sanity
3. Copy of death certificate of the deceased
4. Selfie with government issued photo ID for the Estate Administrator

Once we've received those documents, please allow up to 72 hours for us to review and process the change.
